Robert A. Mich, Jr., born Milwaukee, Wisconsin, April 14, 1972; admitted to bar, 1996, Wisconsin and U.S. District Court, Western and Eastern Districts of Wisconsin.

Education: University of Notre Dame (B.A., with honors, 1993); University of Wisconsin (J.D., 1996). Phi Alpha Delta.

Member: State Bar of Wisconsin and Dane County Bar Association.

Publications:  Bob has authored and updates the Wisconsin Right to Cure Act Procedures Card.  This publication educates property owners and contractors as to their respective rights and obligations in residential construction improvement projects, including situations of defective construction.  He also regularly updates the Wisconsin Construction Lien Law Card, originally authored by Attorney Robert J. Kay, which identifies procedures that must be followed by potential lien claimants to preserve a valid lien on real estate.  Bob also writes a quarterly newsletter entitled LAW NOTES addressing "What Every Insurer Should Know...", and he previously authored a newsletter addressing "What Every Employer Should Know...".

Experience: Robert A. Mich, Jr. has been an attorney with Kay & Andersen since 1996.  During the past 15 years, Bob has successfully represented individuals and businesses all across Wisconsin.  Although Bob has a practice of trying to settle disputes outside the courtroom, he has the experience to serve his clients well if litigation becomes necessary.  Bob has appeared in lawsuits in 19 counties around the state of Wisconsin, the United States Eastern and Western District of Wisconsin courts, the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, and the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

PersonalBob previously served three years as Legal Counsel for the Wisconsin Jaycees and three years as President of his condominium association. Bob has volunteered as an auctioneer for several years at the annual WHA auction.  Bob married his wife, Brenda, in July 2000, and his son, Jordan, was born in 2004.  In his spare time, Bob enjoys playing volleyball and softball.
